Agile Project Manager
Agile Project Managers lead cross-functional teams using Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban. Responsibilities include sprint planning, backlog grooming, and continuous delivery. Strong facilitation, stakeholder communication, and Agile certifications (e.g. PMI-ACP, CSM) are preferred.

We are looking for an Agile Project Manager to lead cross-functional teams in delivering high-impact technology projects using Agile methodologies. This role requires a servant-leader mindset, strong facilitation skills, and a deep understanding of iterative delivery and stakeholder alignment. The position is open to candidates based in South Africa or working remotely.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end delivery of Agile projects across software, infrastructure, or digital platforms.
Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives to support delivery cadence.
Remove obstacles, resolve conflicts, and ensure teams remain focused on goals.
Align product owners, developers, and stakeholders on priorities, deliverables, and timelines.
Monitor velocity, burndown, and team capacity to optimise throughput and quality.
Coach teams and stakeholders on Agile best practices and continuous improvement.
Maintain project artefacts and ensure transparency through visual management tools.
Track progress, risks, and dependencies to ensure timely delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.
Required Skills and Competencies:
In-depth understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and lean delivery principles.
Strong facilitation, coaching, and team-building skills.
Competence in project tracking tools such as Jira, Trello, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple workstreams and distributed teams.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Management, or a related field.
3–5 years of Agile project management experience.
Scrum Master or Agile Project Manager certification (CSM, PMI-ACP, SAFe, etc.).
Experience working in digital product development or enterprise transformation environments.
Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, and Agile metrics (velocity, lead time, etc.).
