Key Responsibilities:
Collect, process, and analyse complex datasets from multiple sources.
Develop predictive and prescriptive models using statistical, machine learning, and data mining techniques.
Visualise data trends and patterns through dashboards and reports.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver data-driven recommendations.
Identify opportunities for improving data quality and analysis processes.
Communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
Maintain and optimise data pipelines and workflows.
Stay current with industry trends and best practices in data science.
Required Skills and Competencies:
Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis and modelling.
Strong experience with SQL and relational databases.
Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and statistical methods.
Experience with data visualisation tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or matplotlib.
Ability to work with large datasets and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
Critical thinking and strong problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field.
3+ years of professional experience in a data science role.
Familiarity with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark) is advantageous.
Experience working in agile teams and applying MLOps practices.
