Job Overview:
We are hiring a Product Designer to lead the end-to-end design of digital products, from user research and concept development to interface design and delivery. You will play a strategic role in shaping intuitive, scalable, and impactful user experiences. This position is open to professionals based in South Africa or working remotely.

Key Responsibilities:
Own the product design process from discovery to delivery, including research, wireframing, prototyping, and visual design.
Work closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to translate user needs and business goals into design solutions.
Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions.
Create and maintain design systems, ensuring consistency across product features.
Deliver high-quality mockups and design specifications for implementation.
Iterate designs based on feedback, data insights, and user behaviour.
Advocate for design thinking and contribute to a user-centred product culture.
Required Skills and Competencies:
Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar.
Strong understanding of UX principles, product strategy, and interaction design.
Ability to translate complex requirements into elegant and functional user interfaces.
Experience with user research methods, testing tools, and data analysis.
Collaborative mindset and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Product Design, Human-Centred Design, Interaction Design, or related field.
3+ years of experience designing digital products or applications.
A strong portfolio that demonstrates strategic thinking and execution across multiple product stages.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies, design sprints, and modern development workflows.
